[]Ally. On our team, Ally Medina is an interviewer, cameraperson.AM. My academic career at Texas State University has been spent studying within the Recreation Studies program, more specifically, in community recreation. I am also pursuing a minor in Public Administration. I hope to advance my career in recreation by becoming a Programs Coordinator or Director for a city park system either here in Texas or, one day, Oregon. I have an acute passion for sharing knowledge that incorporating organized recreation in people’s daily lives will greatly enhance their overall wellbeing and enjoyment of life! I am currently a private childcare specialist, part-time, and a camp supervisor for a city park in Wimberley, Texas. I embody my own form of recreation daily through reading, hiking, and volunteering. [ [] Profile maintained as at time of last entry. ]

[]Jose. On our team, Jose Gorostieta Ruiz is an interviewer, cameraperson.JGR. I am a junior at Texas State University with a major in Healthcare Administration and a minor in biology. True healthcare is holistic, which means that it involves care one receives at a hospital (when necessary), residential settings, health resorts and other places. Very importantly, however, it involves day-to-day behavior choices–including such things as what we eat, how we rest and how we exercise and/or recreate. I believe that recreation is a pathway to a healthier, more exciting life! I work in a nursing facility that heavily incorporates recreation as a way to help with everyday movements. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, swimming and camping but not all at once! [ [] Profile maintained as at time of last entry. ]
